How do I get a quote for vehicle transport?
Submit our online quote request form with your vehicle details, pickup city, delivery city, and preferred dates. We do not accept telephonic quote requests. Our team reviews all submissions and responds by email or phone with a personalised quote.
How long does it take to receive a quote?
We aim to respond to all quote requests within a few hours during business hours (Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 08:00–13:00).
Is the quote binding?
Quotes are valid for the details provided. If your vehicle or route details change, please request a revised quote before booking.
Insurance & Safety
Is my vehicle insured during transport?
Yes. All vehicles transported by Intercity Auto Movers are fully insured throughout the entire journey — from the moment we collect your vehicle to the moment it is delivered. We can provide insurance documentation on request.
What happens if my vehicle is damaged during transport?
All damage claims are handled through our insurance. A pre-transport vehicle inspection report is completed before loading and serves as the baseline for any claims. Contact us immediately if you believe your vehicle has been damaged.
How is my vehicle secured during transport?
Vehicles are secured using professional tie-down straps and wheel chocks on our specialist carriers. For motorcycles, purpose-built cradles and soft tie-downs are used. Luxury and classic vehicles can be transported in enclosed carriers on request.
Delivery Times
How long does vehicle transport take?
Delivery times depend on the route and service selected. Same-day transport is available for select routes, 72-hour express delivery is our fastest standard option, and scheduled transport takes 3–5 business days depending on the distance. Exact timelines are confirmed at the time of quoting.
Do you guarantee delivery dates?
Yes. Once we confirm your booking and delivery window, we honour it. Intercity Auto Movers is known for its on-time delivery record.
Do you offer same-day transport?
Same-day transport is available on select routes subject to carrier availability. Please indicate your urgency in the quote request form.

What types of vehicles do you transport?
We transport cars, SUVs, bakkies, motorcycles, luxury vehicles, caravans, trailers, boats, wheeled equipment, race cars, vintage and classic cars, repossessed vehicles, and salvage vehicles. If it has wheels, we transport it.
Can you transport a non-running vehicle?
Yes. We have rollback trucks and flatbed equipment specifically for non-running vehicles. Please mention this in your quote request.
Do you transport vehicles for dealerships and rental companies?
Yes. We offer bulk fleet movement, defleet support, and dealership delivery services. Contact us for corporate account pricing.

Do you deliver to rural addresses?
Yes. We deliver to rural and farm addresses across South Africa. Additional charges may apply for remote locations — please mention this in your quote request.
